| CounterWise pharmacies help raise funds for CancerCare Manitoba |

On June 13, 2009, 731 caring and committed Manitobans hit the pavement for a life-changing 20k walk, celebrating months of training and raising vital funds and awareness for all cancers.
Wayne Rivers and Kevin Creighton of Procurity Inc. presented CancerCare Manitoba Foundation a cheque in excess of $25000 which was raised through donations collected at all CounterWise Drug Marts and CounterCare Pharmacies throughout Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as well as a portion of the proceeds of Encounter Private Label sales.
Procurity took part in the event by providing a shelter tent and over 700 gift bags for the participants. “Our goal for next year is to double the value of our donation” says Kevin Creighton Director of Retail Services.
